Friends may think we have forgotten

When at times they see us smile.

Little do they know the heartaches

That our smiles hide all the while.

Beautiful memories are wonderful things.

That last till the longest day.

They never get lost and

can never be taken away.

To some you may have forgotten,

To others a part of the past.

Allan K. Pruett, was born on June, 8, 1948 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and died in San Antonio on Saturday, December 6, 2008.

He was raised in Rector, Arkansas and was a graduate from Rector High School where he was an All American Basketball Player. Allan was a 1971 graduate of Arkansas State University, where he was an All Conference basketball star.

He spent 18 years as a special education vocational teacher in San Antonio Independent School District. Prior to his school career he held various sales positions.

Allan is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Natalie Pruett, and nephew; Brett Pruett.

He is survived by his wife; Belinda Licea; two daughters, Kim Cargill of Oklahoma, OK. and Kelley Evans of McKinney, TX.; three grandchildren; one brother, Joe Pruett and wife, Jean of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX.; one nephew, Burt Pruett of San Antonio, TX., and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. at Porter Loring.
